This site is lovingly kept online in memory of its author, who wrote it to share his ‘Indian summer’ with others — especially those, in his words, ‘of a certain age’.
Each week for over six years he wrote about one of three things: birdwatching in the Borders and North Northumberland, cycling the same lanes and hills, and the garden that kept him busy the rest of the time. What follows is that record, kept exactly as he left it.
